Betsy's summer group
Betsy's summer kids came over to do crafts for a morning. They looked for nature treasures in our back yard and wove the twigs, weeds, feathers, and other bits into a piece of burlap.

Cleaning up
The kids worked together to shake the rug and put it back in the studio. They also swept the floor and put the rest of the nature treasures back in the trees. Maybe a squirrel will find them!

In the inside of the books, we sewed a small pad of nice drawing paper so it can be used as a drawing book. The weavings were sewn on the cover with buttons.
