About Me

Terri Reinhart spent 18 years teaching kindergarten at the Denver Waldorf School. She now enjoys spending time making brooms, felting, knitting, bookbinding, painting, and filling up the house with various craft supplies. She is probably the only woman who has ever asked her husband for 50 pounds of broomcorn for her birthday. She also enjoys writing because, as she says, “It helps me to process all the crazy wonderful things in life without screaming or hitting anything.”

Her husband, Chris, is very patient.

Studio News

Studio Foxhoven exists so that I can have a place to enjoy my own artwork with others. I believe that art should be a community activity. There are no fees for workshops, however, there is a donation basket for offerings to help purchase supplies for everyone to use.

September 2009

The weather is getting cooler and it's time to get back to work on all those projects that I've put off because it's just been too blasted hot to do anything, exept sit and drink iced tea!

My studio has been a bit neglected lately.  I've had the best intentions to clean and organize the space as well as finish numerous projects that are still in the planning and preparing stage.  It didn't get done.  However, now that Fall is in the air, it's cooling down, school has begun, and Michaelmas is upon us, it just feels right to wake up a little more and get back to work.  A few classes have already been scheduled and that is good.  It's time to wake up our studio again!

That said, there will be a few times over the school year when I will, for the most part, not be available for classes.  From September 21st - October 15th, November 16th - December 18th, and February 1st - March 5th, I will be teaching art classes at the Denver Waldorf School.  During those times, studio sessions will be limited to working with individuals in the mornings.  These sessions will be held at the school.  It might also be possible to include one or two adults in with the high school groups.  If you are interested, please contact me for more information.

We have been working on one large project that we would like to share with you.  My son, Patrick, is in the process of illustrating the story of St. Nikolas and the Pine Marten.  When it is completed, hopefully by this Advent season, it should be available throught Amazon.  I'll include a picture or two from Patrick's sketches as our preview of the book.  Check out his drawings in the Gallery!!

I look forward to seeing everyone again!  Thank you for your support of our little studio!
